Veterinarians are listed on the New Zealand Long-Term Skills Shortage List.
So, as a qualified veterinarian, you may be eligible for a work visa and permit. For more information and to discuss your eligibility, contact a licenced immigration advisor.
To practice, or use the title 'Veterinarian' in New Zealand, you must be registered with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand and have a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
