Veterinary Nurse – Wānaka (Fixed Term)

Bring your passion for animals and people – join our Aspiring team!

Are you a Veterinary Nurse who cares just as much about people as you do about animals? Looking to join a supportive team where you can step in and make a real difference?

We’re looking for a Veterinary Nurse to join our Aspiring clinic on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave from September 2026 through to September 2027. This is a great opportunity to become part of a collaborative, close-knit team and contribute to the care of our patients and their pet parents.

We’re a positive group who take pride in what we do and enjoy working together — if you bring a great attitude and team-first approach, you’ll fit right in.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and monitoring
  • Assisting with surgical and medical procedures
  • Supporting pet parents with clear, compassionate communication
  • Helping maintain smooth day-to-day clinic operations
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in veterinary nursing

  • Brings a positive, proactive and reliable approach
  • Demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and care
