Looking for a Clinic Where You Can Truly Make Your Mark?
What if your next role wasn't just about treating patients?
What if it was about becoming part of a community, building lasting relationships with Pet Parents, and helping shape the future of a clinic that genuinely needs you?
We're looking for a Companion Animal Veterinarian to join our Waipā team. This is a rare opportunity to become a key part of a close-knit community where your work matters, your relationships matter, and where you'll have the chance to make a real impact every day.
As our Companion Animal Veterinarian, you'll work with loyal client bases, supportive teams, and a wide variety of cases across our Waipā network, including Otorohanga, Te Awamutu and Te Kūiti.
Why Waipā?
Located in the heart of the Waikato, Waipā offers a lifestyle that's becoming harder to find.
Think friendly communities, manageable commutes, and weekends spent exploring everything the Waikato has to offer. It's a place where work-life balance is more than just a buzzword, and where you can build a rewarding career without sacrificing the things that matter outside of work.
About You
You'll be someone who:
- Enjoys companion animal medicine and surgery
- Builds trusted relationships with Pet Parents
- Takes pride in delivering excellent patient care
- Values teamwork and a great clinic culture
- Wants to be part of something bigger than just another veterinary role
NZ Veterinary Council registration (or eligibility for registration) is required.
Why Petfirst?

We offer:
✅ Competitive remuneration plus KiwiSaver contributions on top of salary
