We're looking for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys building relationships, finding practical solutions, and becoming part of the community they work in.
About the Role
This is a sole charge companion animal role supported by an experienced Veterinary Nurse and Clinic Coordinator.
You'll enjoy a varied caseload, plenty of autonomy, and the opportunity to make a genuine impact in your community.
Most importantly, this role offers something increasingly hard to find:

✅ No on-call
✅ No after-hours
Just a Monday to Friday roster and a great lifestyle outside of work.
What We're Looking For
You will:
- Be eligible for registration with the New Zealand Veterinary Council.
- Have experience in companion animal practice.
- Be confident with routine surgery and medical cases.
- Enjoy working independently while being supported by a wider veterinary network.
- Have a practical, down-to-earth approach and a genuine interest in community veterinary care.
- Value building long-term relationships with clients and their animals.
